If Oliver Postgate had invented Second Life, it might have been a bit like this. But he didn't as he has far better things to do.
And in other news, Snakes & Arrows by Rush sounds oddly like Big Bottom by Spinal Tap.
I highly recommend this page to you all, especially the tearjerking story of Jeffy the plastic bag, and the song about the YMCA. It's near the end of the page.

Apologies for this, but I'm going to return to my pet topic of “annoying music from kids TV”. Sometimes, the music on kids TV is annoying, yet brilliant. Maybe the best example of this is PC Plum's “follow the clue” theme from Balamory, which is a strange sort of Queen meets Pirates of Penzance mash-up.
For those of who who aren't blessed with toddlers (and who have therefore probably missed this masterpiece), someone has uploaded the entire thing to the information cyberweb.
I'm writing this blog in a tent in the garden. Digi is already asleep to my side. Aside from the clacking of my keyboard, I hear the gentle purring of cars going by. The birds have stopped singing now. An aeroplane went overhead about 20 minutes ago. The cows who live in the field next but one seem to have gone to bed (they were mooing earlier on in the evening, but now are entirey silent). There is a strange scratching / rustling noise which is appears to coming from over by the eucalyptus tree. Probably a cat catching a rabbit or something. Maybe an evil murderer. The wireless signal out here is a little better than I get in the bedroom. Night night!
