A man has pleaded guilty to war crimes. He has mistreated prisoners, who were “repeatedly beaten while handcuffed and forced to wear sacks on their heads”. Prisoners “received serious kidney injuries consistent with being kicked and punched”.
And the man's name? Corporal Payne.
