Introducing Kalila Boo Newark

Born at 2.08am on Friday 9th June 2006, after a labour of just under 2 hours (no, really!)

she weighs 7lb 15oz, and is now acquainting herself with boob juice. Digi doesn't know yet...

Lap: If Digs is anything like my friend's daughter, the concept of boob juice coming from the original source is sort of foreign to him because of the interval since he had it on tap.

Hurrah for sopping breast pads! I wonder if the startup period is any easier the second time around.

I wonder what Digs' reaction will be to the squirmy, squinty little bundle that is his new sister? One of my earliest memories of my little sis was kicking her off the couch, so hopefully the smaller distance between their ages will help with the “hey, I was here first!” syndrome.
